CELEBRATING THE SOUNDS OF CUBA (LIVE)! Sat Sep 07 (1pm-6pm, £5/7 Entry) - It maybe the first week of Autumn, but we continue to bring the heat and positive summer vibrations, as your all things Latin x Afro host DJ JOHN ARMSTRONG welcomes the exciting sounds of the HAVANA ALL STARS: Cuban Songbook (LIVE). Fronted by the brilliant ELIANE CORREA, Havana All Stars are set to deliver 2 righteous live sets celebrating the sounds, soul and legacy of classic Cuban music - standards re-interpreted LIVE up on the roof at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Garden. 🔥💃🏽🌴

Expect an all afternoon session where we come together, eat, drink and be seriously, joyfully entertained. With a special authentic Dominican Brunch Menu lovingly prepared by BOCA CHICA and an Inspired menu of Original and Classic CLF Cocktails available all day long, you know where to come.

A stunning collection of musicians fronted by band leader, pianist, arranger, composer and producer ELIANE CORREA, celebrating the joy, sound and soul of Classic Cuban Music.

ELIANE CORREA

Eliane Correa is a pianist, MD and composer between London and Havana. Trained classically at the Luxembourg Conservatoire, she went on to study piano and composition at the renowned Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba, in 2005, then relocated to London in 2007 to study a BA & MA Ethnomusicology at SOAS (part of University College, London).

Her unique sound reflects her Latin heritage and experience in London’s musical melting pot.  In both her compositions and playing, a lot of attention is paid to the African roots of the music she identifies with. Still, her classical musical upbringing remains weaved into her to create an intricate, sophisticated and unique sound.
