MAXINE SCOTT LIVE IN THE LOUNGE!! Fri Jul 12 (8pm-1am, £5/7 Entry) - Summer is in full swing and we’re keeping it well HOT as we welcome the return of “UK Rising Star" and spectacular speakeasy vocalist MAXINE SCOTT for an all evening session celebrating the sounds of neo soul, r&b and nu jazz (LIVE). Time for some more sophisticated soul, Live In The Lounge, deep in our speakeasy jazz lounge at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Garden.

Maxine’s beautifully evocative composition blends a hybrid of 90s inspired sounds drawing on alt R&B, Soul and Nujazz. Her soft, speak easy vocals combined with her honeyed, scrapbook style production compliments her quirky pop aesthetic.

Maxine’s hugely acclaimed debut EP ‘Erykah U Bad’ nailed a solid 10/10 review in international music mag, ‘Blues & Soul’ and was on heavy rotation as Mi-Soul’s ‘Traffic Jam of the Week’. This was followed by her first lofi-jazz EP with Alf.E, ‘Ya Energy’ which is continuing to get hammered on dance stations globally.

Maxine has also provided vocals on ADR’s ‘Back to Dance’ - an epic house EP which notched up an amazing four weeks play on Danny Howard’s BBC radio 1’s ‘Dance Party’ show, reaching No.1 on Beatport’s Dance charts and went on to become a breaking tune on iTunes Dance/House charts in and around the world.
