Sun Dec 31 (8pm-4am / Free entry b4 9pm) - A new Year is here and we’re celebrating beautifully, sonically, soulfully, hard with a 2 floor extra good time funk, soul, disco and northern soul laden Live In The Lounge New Years Eve 2 Floor Special. An all night celebration where it’s all about the dance and serving up the absolute best of times at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Garden.

Your rooftop hosts RICHIO SUZUKI & MC LION ARKROYAL + DJSOULPROVYDER are joined by guaranteed party starters and brass band stage stormers ROWDY CROWD (LIVE) - all artist coming together for a righteous all night (weatherproof) rooftop celebration. With the legendary ROB MESSER & special guest OSCAR ROMP dropping classic soul and rare groove in the NORTHERN SOUL ROOM deep in the lounge, know this, we’re gonna bring it large and lively as we celebratory see in a new year in spectacular style across both floors til dawn.

RICHIO SUZUKI

Richio Suzuki has been spinnin’ tunes for over 35 years. He has moved around playing in many area’s including House in late 80s, old skool hip hop in 90s, eclectic back room & bar sets, celebrity parties, TV shows & festivals. Playing at Ministry of Sound, Southport Weekender and festivals such as Lovebox, Lattitude & Standon Calling.

MC ARKROYAL

Lion Arkroyal - 23 year old Fresh new talent from Japan. Born in london Leon is Richio Suzuki's son, and is currently recording Tokyo tracks with a famous hip hop producer, whilst In london he is working with leading producer Dominic Owen aka The love theme (Has produced Notorious B I G, Rakim & Lil Kim & recently new release with Banksy). Leon over to celebrate NYE as MC alongside his Dad.

DJSOULPROVYDER

djsoulprovyder has been a purveyor and collector of 70’s soul jazz funk latin and rare groove since 1991. Originally dj’ing alongside the ten piece acid jazz funk band Blk2Basic where they hosted a weekly live jam music session called “Spontaneous Construction” which ran for nearly fifteen years. He then developed his own brand called the Soul Solution Soundsystem featuring  various vocalist & musicians performing live over his dj sets.

His current sets include a selection of past and present music with a flexibility of joining the dots and crossing over many musical genres, journeying from his disco and afro-latin jazz funk/fusion roots to a deeper electronic afro-tech and broken-beat sound.

LOUNGE  / NORTHERN SOUL ROOM

ROB MESSER

One of the best Soul DJs coming from the 80s Mod scene. He has Dj'ed in clubs and weekenders as 100 Club, Cleethorpes Weekender, Tretham Gardens, Mars Barr, R&B allnighters in Stoke, S.O.U.L. or at Floorshaker Barcelona. Runs long standing Mod/Soul club in England 'ALMOST GROWN' for over 10 years, being also involved in the Rhythm & Soul Set Organisation. From 1995 he runs his own record store, Hip City Records, specialized in Northern Soul, R&B and mod sounds (Eduardo Domingo).

OSCAR ROMP

Oscar Romp has been active on the uk Jazz-Funk-Soul scene for Almost 40 years. He is well known for his unique paintings of dancers made ‘live’ on location. As A DJ he spins  a mix of vintage vinyl sounds including Disco, Funk, Motown, Northern Soul, Reggae, Ska, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, & Latin.

2024 is here and the party is positively ON!
