HOT CUMBIA MUSICA LIVE ON THE ROOF! Sat Jun 22 (1pm-6pm / £5) - Cumbia dancefloor action is the order of the day, as prime ‘all things latin’ selector DJ JOHN ARMSTRONG welcomes one of the UK's leading Cumbia Porro and Currulao bands, the positively rhythmic and truly authentic CHOLAO (LIVE) and tropically direct up on the roof at The CLF Art Lounge & Roof Garden. 🔥💃🏽🌴 

Expect another righteous lunchtime/early afternoon session where we come together, eat, drink and be seriously, joyfully entertained. With a special authentic Dominican Brunch Menu lovingly prepared by BOCA CHICA available all day long, you know where to come.

CHOLAO, a seven-piece music ensemble with a South London accent. We play Colombian rhythms that inspire more than one hip to tell the truth on the dancing floor!

What does Cholao mean?

It's a traditional Colombian fruit/ drink combo....but based in West Norwood it's a Seven piece CUMBIA PORRO AND CURRULAO. Those rhythms that crossover Colombia's folklore into Pop in the early 60's. The band is an explosion of flavor's and rhythms.

This assemble; with a unique bunch of musicians who had been in the London Latin scene since the 90's offer a mature alternative of Colombian rhythms showing the audience more than Salsa.
