It’s that time of year when the spirit of Notting Hill Carnival takes over and we mean to get some, with an extended all day into night celebratory session on 2 FLOORS. Live & DJ. Part of our weekly Sunday Soul Brunch sessions where we invite you to sit back, eat, drink, relax and/or dance to a diverse range of soul in all its forms. Soul to afro, motown to funk, jazz to hip hop' reggae and way beyond. All righteously served and performed for your absolute Sunday afternoon listening, eating and get down pleasure!

SOULSA ALLSTARS (LIVE) - Band on stage around 3pm performing 2 live sets

Jazz Funk Improvisation TRIO, The SOULSA ALLSTARS sure know how to take a groove and run with it. And the best thing is, it’s funky and the groove is always seriously going places, as the trio offer a unique and highly original take on jazz funk standards to originally wholly improvised works. This band are certain to bring the Jazz-Funk Carnival to our Carnival All Dayer Special. So be ready to get down!

MR.BOOGIE/SOULSA:

Born into the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the French capital and with parents of Ugandan descent, Mr Boogie was never going to be the type of person who just played any old record. Having spent his formative years split between Paris and West Africa, in his teens he made the move to the UK where he set about putting his burgeoning love for music to good use.

Since then, Mr Boogie has made his own distinctive mark on the London underground scene via his Melting Pot music show on Shoreditch Radio, and Grass Roots – a regular live event at The Vortex Jazz Club in the East End. He also promotes Deep & Dope.
